Abstract
The 17-page report highlights SCC’s two-day strategic exchange held April 14-15, 2014, with its U.S., European and Australian counterparts. Global Perspectives brings together the views of several distinguished leaders of the international standards community, on how standardization supports regional and international trade. Other themes include standards development models, red tape reduction, harmonizing standards, and supporting small- and medium-sized enterprises. Through Global Perspectives, readers will gain insight into, and a global perspective on, different standardization business models – and the value of international standardization systems – in advancing government and industry strategic objectives.
