Abstract

Education about Standardization (EaS) has tried to establish it as an independent discipline, but T. Kurokawa advocates that the EaS should be an inter-disciplinary discipline to achieve a goal of intellectual infrastructure for the industry and society. He refers to other inter-disciplinary educations such as design thinking.
